Maddy Briggs is a composer and sound designer who works across the fields of theatre, dance, screen, chamber music and fixed media composition. Her practice centres upon the digital elaboration and explosion of acoustic instruments, woven into highly textural soundscapes.
Her work has been presented at/by VIVID Sydney, MUSLAB’s International Electroacoustic Music Festival, the City of Sydney and Phoenix Central Park’s The Church, and has been aired on SBS On Demand, BBC Music 6 and FBi Radio.
She performs with improvising ensemble Chaos Collective and art rock band Supahoney.
